Scammy does not promise a number. It just stops the calls before they ring — so you never have to decide, in two seconds, whether that voice is real.

How it works

No settings to fiddle with. No lists to build. Three steps and you're done.

1

Install Scammy

Get it from Google Play when it launches. It only asks for two permissions — your contacts, so it knows who you know, and phone state, so it can answer calls.

2

Press START once

One big button. Press it once and Scammy turns on — the guard locks in and your phone is protected.

3

That's it — you're guarded

Scammy handles every unknown call automatically, day and night. You don't touch a thing. Press STOP any time to turn it off.

What Scammy does

Everything a scam call tries, Scammy answers first.

🚫 Reject unknown calls

Choose Reject and Scammy hangs up on numbers that aren't in your contacts — for you, automatically.

🔇 Or silence them

Prefer Silence? Unknown calls never ring — they go straight to voicemail. You pick the mode, any time.

📞 Contacts always ring

Anyone in your contacts always gets through. Friends, family, your doctor — never blocked, ever.

🛡️ Failed calls rejected

Calls that fail verification are always rejected, in either mode. No exceptions.

📋 Call log you control

See every call Scammy handled. Delete any entry, or clear the whole log — your allowlist is never touched.

✅ Allowlist

Numbers you trust stay trusted. Add them once and they always ring through.

What Scammy does NOT do

Your phone stays yours. Scammy only guards your calls — nothing else.

💬 Never touches your messages

No SMS filtering. No reading your texts. Your RCS and messages stay exactly as they are.

📵 Not a messaging app

Scammy never asks to be your default SMS app. Calls only — that's the whole job.

🔒 Works offline, stays private

No account, no cloud, no data sent anywhere. Only 2 permissions: contacts and phone state.

🧹 Also in Scammy: Remove my number

Scammy also helps you take your phone number off the data-broker sites that list it and sell it. Tap through the big ones — and more — one at a time, right from the app.

👈 A new page, one swipe left

A second page, one swipe left from the main screen. The main screen stays exactly as it is — this is an extra option, there when you want it.

🎨 One colourful button per site

Each broker gets its own bright button. Tap one and it opens that broker's own official removal page, where you confirm the removal yourself.

📋 One copy box, no retyping

Enter your name and phone number once — saved on your phone only, never sent anywhere. One copy box holds them with a Copy button, so you paste them into each form instead of typing them again and again.

✅ The app keeps track

Mark each site done as you go, and Scammy remembers what's done. Listings can come back over time, so it reminds you to re-check.

How it works — step by step

Scammy does not remove your number for you. You do each removal yourself, on that broker's own page. Scammy just makes it easy. Here's exactly what you do:

1

Swipe left in the app

Open the Remove my number page — one swipe left from the main screen. Everything is gathered in one place.

2

Enter your details once

Type your name and phone number once. They stay saved on your phone only, never sent anywhere.

3

Tap a broker's button

Each broker gets its own bright button. Tap one and it opens that broker's own official removal page.

4

Paste and confirm it yourself

Paste your name and number from the one copy box into the broker's form — no retyping — and confirm the removal there. That's your step, not the app's.

5

Mark it done, move on

Mark that site done in the app and go to the next one. Scammy remembers what's done.

6

Re-check in about 3 months

Listings can come back over time, so come back in about 3 months and run through the list again.

Plain talk: removal isn't automatic — you confirm on each broker's own page, because that's how their removal works. And nobody can delete your information from the dark web, Scammy included — it doesn't claim to. Taking your number off broker sites makes it harder for new callers to find it; stopping the calls themselves is still the call blocking above. Included in Scammy at no extra charge.

Questions?

The short answers.

Is Scammy on Google Play yet?

Not yet — the Play listing is in progress and Scammy is coming soon. The price will be $2.99 one-time, with a free 1-day trial at launch.

Does it work on iPhone?

Scammy is Android first. iPhone can't do the same automatic call protection, so Android is where it starts.

Will my contacts still ring?

Yes — always. Anyone in your contacts rings through, in every mode. Only unknown numbers are rejected or silenced.

What about calls that fail verification?

They're always rejected, in both Reject and Silence modes. No exceptions.

Does Scammy read my messages?

No. Scammy is calls only. It never touches your messages or RCS, and it never becomes your SMS app.

How much does it cost?

$2.99 one-time at launch, after a free 1-day trial. No subscription, no monthly fee. It's not for sale yet — the price shown is the launch price.
